AD+RG 榮獲 BCI 亞洲 2011 年香港十大最傑出建築設計公司獎項

AD+RG 連續三年 榮獲 BCI 「香港 十大 最傑出建築設計公司獎項」，表揚設計理念及傑出的建築成就。

這個獎項自 2005 年設立以來，已成為東南亞及香港區一年一度的業界盛事，分別於 7 大主要亞洲城市 — 香港、曼谷、胡志明市、雅加達、吉隆坡、馬尼拉及新加坡選出 10 家最活躍以及工程項目總造價最高的建築設計公司，表揚他們對建築業界及環境所作出的卓越貢獻。

林雲峰、陳智星、黃首健、何崇鈞總監、陳興文助理總監、譚思藍協理總監及葉兆和項目總監獲邀於 2011 年 5 月 13 日出席建築媒體 BCI Asia 在香港 麗思卡爾頓 酒店舉行的「香港十大建築設計公司獎 2011 頒獎典禮」，接受大會頒發是次殊榮。

 AD+RG has been awarded “BCI Asia Top 10 Architect” in three consecutive years 2009, 2010 & 2011, in recognition of corporate design concepts and contributions to the architectural profession.

Since 2005, the “BCI Asia Top 10 Architect Awards” is an annual highlight in the building industry, bestowed at exclusive events in key Asian cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok , Ho Chi Minh City , Jakarta , Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Singapore . The Award identifies “Top 10 Most-Significant Architecture Firms” with the largest active portfolios and highest value of their design reported over an annual qualification period so as to recognize their brilliant contributions to the architectural profession and the environment.

林雲峰總監獲香港建築師學會邀請於 2011 年 11 月 22 日 作持續專業進修講座，題目為「從社區參與到可持續發展設計的新轉變」，分享最新設計趨勢，從社區參與、城市空間、以人性角度出發的建築設計到可作演變的設計探討等。

Principal Bernard V. Lim was invited by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) to be the speaker for CPD Seminar on 22 November 2011. The topic was “New Challenges – from Community Engagement to Design for Sustainability and Changes” to share recent examples of design approaches from participatory design process related to community architecture and planning/urbanity, architecture for people, design for changes and sustainability, etc.

Principal Bernard V. Lim was invited to be a moderator for the conference “GreenFest by POINTOLIFE” at 100% Design Shanghai / IHDD 2011 on 5 November 2011. Urbanization in China is taking an unprecedented pace. Speakers evaluated the topic on the improvement of green buildings performance and other related issues.

何崇鈞總監被邀於2011年9月24及30日出席由世界自然基金會及環境保護署合辦之「氣候變化」教師專業發展計劃工作坊，於香港專上學院 ( 紅磡灣校園 ) 向中學通識科老師介紹如何透過綠色建築設計讓企業實踐可持續的管理概念。

AD+RG 為嶺南大學學生宿舍及商學院－黃浩川堂及伍絜宜堂的建築設計顧問， 林雲峰總監與陳興文助理總監於 9 月 7 日 獲邀出席平頂儀式，並向嘉賓講解建築設計 。大樓主要由兩部份組成，裙樓是教學大樓，在教學大樓之上有兩座宿舍塔樓，總共可以提供 300 個宿位， 預計將於 2012 年初正式落成。

AD+RG as the architectural design consultant for the Student Hostels and Business School - Wong Hoo Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall of the Lingnan University, Principal Bernard V. Lim and Assistant Principal Gordon Chan were invited to attend the Topping Out Ceremony on 7 Septmeber, and explained the architectural design to the guests. The building consists of a podium – the academic block and 2 hostel towers. The hostel towers offer 300 student bedrooms, and will be completed in early 2012.

林雲峰總監為土木工程拓展署及深圳市建築工務署合辦之「蓮塘／香園圍口岸聯檢大樓概念設計國際競賽」擔任專業顧問，在 9 月 1 日 於香港會議展覽中心舉行之頒獎典禮簡介及回顧競賽過程。

Principal Bernard V. Lim as the Professional Advisor for the “International Design Ideas Competition for Liantang/ Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Passenger Terminal Building”, co-organized by the Civil Engineering and Development Department and Bureau of Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality, presented the retrospective of the competition at the Prize Award Ceremony on 1 September at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre.

林雲峰總監獲邀於 2011 年 9 月14 日在香港中文大學出席由奧地利商務專員公會及香港中文大學建築學院舉辦及奧地利總領事館協辦的 「能源與發展密度: 可持續發展的路向與實踐」 會議作作演講嘉賓之一，就歐亞兩地之不同，從地域、文化及科技角度交流對實踐可持續建築及城市設計的形式及可行性等經驗。

Principal Lim is invited to be a guest speaker for the symposium on "Energy and Density: Locating/Practicing Sustainability" organized by The Austrian Trade Commission in Hong Kong, The School of Architecture of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and in collaboration with The Austrian Consulate General Hong Kong on 14 Sept 2011 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Against the background of their experiences in European and Asian contexts, panelists will locate the topic of sustainability topographically, culturally and technologically, and share their insights on forms and possibilities of practising sustainable architecture and urban design.

Principal Bernard Lim was invited to be the Officiating Guest and Speaker for the “Higher Diploma in Architectural Design & Technology – Student Project Exhibition 2011” Opening Ceremony, organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre on 29 July 2011. Principal Lim was invited to be a guest speaker for the Conference “2nd Annual Affordable Housing Projects” organized by Marcus Evans on 25th and 26th July 2011 at Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur to present on the topic of “Design and technology for sustainable affordable housing in China, Hong Kong and Asia”. He was also invited to be a panelist for the panel discussion on “Building vertical cities to address the issue of land scarcity and to accommodate the growing urban population”

Principal Lim as the Juror of Quality Building Award 2012 (QBA 2012) attended the official opening press meeting of the award program on 30 June 2011. QBA 2012 is jointly-organized by nine building and construction institutes and associations, and aims to acknowledge quality building teams for buildings with outstanding quality.

Principal Lim attended the Eighth National Congress of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) held in Beijing on May 27, 2011. President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and other top leaders including Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang were present at the meeting.

AD+RG 於 5 月 12-13 日參與由香港貿易發展局、廣東省對外貿易經濟合作廳及中國國際貿易促進委員會廣東省委員會共同舉辦之「 smarthk 升級轉型．香港博覽」展覽，於廣州錦漢展覽中心展覽介紹 AD+RG 的建築設計及發展項目。

AD+RG exhibited at of the “smarthk Innovation and Industry Upgrading”, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, The Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Guangdong Province and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Sub-Council; to showcase AD+RG's architectural design projects at the Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Centre.

Lim as the Professional Advisor for the “International Design Ideas Competition for Liantang/ Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Passenger Terminal Building”, co-organized by the Civil Engineering and Development Department and Bureau if Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality, provided professional guidance to the Jury at the 1 st Round of Adjudication in May 2011.

Principal Bernard Lim was invited to be a speaker for the “Sustainable and Green Architecture Design, Architectural Technology Exchange Conference” at Shenzhen, organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development – Environmental Engineering Centre. Using “Green Architecture and Design for High Density City ” as the theme, Lim explained how urban design and architectural design reflect a sustainable city.

AD+RG 為香港青年旅舍協會－美荷樓活化城市旅舍計劃的建築設計顧問， 林雲峰總監與陳智星總監於 2011 年 2 月 26 日 獲邀出席動土儀式 ，發展局局長 林鄭月娥 GBS JP 擔任嘉賓。 工程預期 2012 年底竣工。

D+RG as the architectural design consultant for the Revitalization Scheme - Conversion of Mei Ho House as a City Hostel for Youth Hostels Association, Principal Bernard V. Lim and Principal Rex Chan were invited to attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony on 26 February 2011. Secretary for Development Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-Ngor GBS JP was invited as the Guest of Honour. The project will be completed by the end of 2012.

AD+RG joined the Ngong Ping Charity Walk jointly organized by Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association and Ngong Ping 360 on 16 January 2011. AD+RG supported the event which aims to raise the awareness of the public on conservation and preservation of natural environment.
