這展品同時連繫了兩個地方，至兩個狀態、兩個文本和兩段歷史，就如美利樓從中環移換到赤柱一樣。...

… 4 doors from the Hong
Kong Institute of Architects Office, the Hong
Kong Community College of the Hong Kong Polytechnic
University, the fishing village of Lei Yue Mun
and the old public housing estate representing
the different community groups in Hong Kong was
brought to Venice for the Venice Biennale 2006.
The 'void' which is left behind prompted a series
of community workshop activities to design new
doors that suit different community groups. Due
to this displacement of doors, they not only linked
up between Hong Kong and Venice, but also the
history between the two places. Such displacement
is similar to the relocation of the Murray House
from Central to Stanley in Hong Kong…
